The heart and mind can be a tricky thing when the 2 don't seem to be in sync. Just when you think you have it all figured out. One little thing comes along and scatters all the pieces on your board game. Sometimes I think about alternate universes and if there really is another one of us somewhere else living out a different choice we could have made 8 years ago, or even 20. Like those choose your own adventure books.
