Haven't talked politics straight up for awhile, but I've been hearing some people talking about John McCain....
He might have had more centrist/progessive leanings in the past, but that's not his platform now. There's no reason for any non-billionaire to vote for him.
As one of the latest editorials in the Times puts it:
"Senator John McCain is shaping up as Bush the Sequel - neverending war in Iraq, tax cuts for the rich while the middle class struggles, courts packed with right-wing activists intent on undoing decades of progress in civil rights, civil liberties and other vital areas."
