V-DAY
Well, Valentine's Day is coming up. And I know what I want to do: go see the Vagina Monologues, I missed out last year and I don't want to miss out this year.
The program has a very special meaning to me, I can very much relate to one of the monologues which discusses rape. It kinda explains how i felt and do feel sometimes.
If anything, I suggest you ladies and gentlemen go see a local playing of it near you. The proceeds go towards organizations that are dedicated to help end violence against women. If you have the time I highly suggest visiting V-Day.Org. Eve Ensler the playwrite for the Vagina Monologues founded the organization.
I would love to put on a show of the Vagina Monologues in my town but I wouldn't know where to begin or what to do. I would like to do a lot of things like that. I would love to do an art gallary called "Creativity for a Cause" were all money from sold work goes to a charity of some sort. I'm one of those types who want to do a lot but doesn't know the slightist way to make them happen. ::Sigh::
