1940s bridal takes a ferocious twist

You may remember seeing the back and details of this design... here's a couple more gorgeously strong images of Tessa in the taupe silk satin corset body, with 1940s inspired shoulders and quilting detail.









There are elements of this design that I would have done differently, but I love the overall look and feel quite excited about it. I'd love to build upon it further with differently shaped shoulders, narrower posture collars, overbusts instead of cupped, and so on. I'm still daydreaming about a midnight blue duchess satin version, with longline hips, a sweetheart midbust cut, and completely quilted with a design of a horse-drawn chariot racing across a stormy sky. Maybe a bit Blake, in terms of the style.
