For UK based corsetmaking beginners:

This short course looks pretty good.

There is a number of short courses available in the UK, at wildly varying costs, but this one sounds pretty interesting. I haven't done any of these courses as by the time I thought I could perhaps afford to I had already self-taught most of it. But you should know... if you decide to get into corsetry (whether as a hobby or business), it's going to cost you a *lot* of cash! Especially if you're aiming for a high standard. Books, materials, tools, time... it's so worth it though.

And why am I wittering on about courses? Because I still hope to take some further education in the future. Mostly, the difficulty is finding something appropriate to my interests (or something that can be tailored to them). I have a couple of options in mind, but it would require moving again. Plus, justifying the expense! I just love to learn though, and to push myself. At the moment, I am pushed onwards by my own interests, by looking at anything beautiful, by reading and writing for FR, and by seeing how much more there still is to do. I don't see any point in standing still when meeting a challenge is so much fun.
