Pretty sure my mom just bought the studmuffin of the Pomelo world. I'm trying to peel the pomelo and after I cut the thick skin off, I split it open to take out the membranes separating the sections (like a grapefruit) so that we can get at the juicy pulp better.

This pomelo has an obnoxious number of seeds. It's like when you're trying to eat an orange and all you get is a mouthful of seeds. And not only does this pomelo have 5+ seeds PER SECTION, each seed is also obnoxiously large. I get that seeds need to have all this stuff for the new plant to grow, but these seeds were unnecessarily large. These seeds were the plus-sized wheels on a souped up pickup truck driven by some hick who thinks big wheels will get you more girls in life. It doesn't. It gets you more distance in less rotations. And that isn't something girls look for in a future spouse or even a one night stand. Nobody cares how few times your wheels need to turn to move your truck one mile.

Anyway, now I'm all trying to dig out all these seeds and I'm pretty sure it looked something like what happens when you turn a magician's hat upside down. Hat is only so big, but an entire farm's worth of birds and livestock come tumbling out. I give up after only a few sections and just eat some pulp. At least it is still tasty.

While wondering why this StudPomelo has so many large seeds, I figured it was probably really really excited about spreading its genes all over the world. Maybe trying some world domination or just sharing the goods or something. Though the presence of that many seeds makes me think they were probably bad seeds that had maybe a 1% chance of survival. Best make up for those odds in quantity! As for the size, I'm sure if I bothered to cut a seed in half, I'd find it was 90% armor and 10% stuff future pomelo needs to survive and grow.

Moral of this story is probably something like "quality over quantity" or "size doesn't matter" or something since all those seeds are going into compost anyway, but I'm more concerned about ending this post and getting back to eating pomelo. Just thought I'd share this revelation with you all.

Good day.
