SGA 2x08 "Conversion"
I busted out laughing with each new appearance of Sheppard as he turned more bug-like. His increased abilities were kind of hot (i.e. fight with Teyla, running with Ronan), but the progression to bug..... Geez, what crack.
OMG, the kiss!?! All potential for Sheppard/Teyla is in the past, if it ever was (not sure, have only seen the Pilot, 3 or 4 S1 eps, and all of S2). Don't force the horrible, awkward het on me now. Though, I won't protest Ronan/Teyla, unless they do it badly. Plus, Teyla did not seem at all interested. Does make me wonder what Rodney's reaction to the kiss would be. "Damn writers, barely even letting me in the episode. Colonel Sheppard is stalking around being all aggressive, making moves, and probably can't even remember Don't Ask, Don't Tell. And where am I? Left out in the cold."
Could Elizabeth have been more dense? "Why yes, I'll go into a darkly lit room with a man who is turning into a dangerous bug. John, John are you doing okay?" Of course he isn't, lady. Plus, I would have posted at least a dozen guards outside his room and perhaps even moved him into the cell that they kept that Wraith in.
I loved Rodney when he was all, "That's an excellent plan, Carson./That's a terrible plan, Carson." Plus, his look when Elizabeth says that there might not be much time left. AWWW, too cute.
Dude, what was up with that hooded coat that John had on when they were headed on the 2nd mission to retrieve some eggs? Felt a little too Star Wars to me.
Favorite moment of the night: John has just been stunned by Ronan for the second time in the episode. Carson runs forward wretches the insulated mug from John's passed-out hand, checks on the eggs, and then proceeds to step over John's body and run off. He never once checks on John. WOW!!! Poor Bug!John.
I'm very sad that we had to go 2 weeks without a new episode, we get one, and now it's going to be another 2 weeks. SGA, you can't get me hooked and then string me along like this.
