movie updates.
Caught 2 movies recently and both were good!
First up was "UP" with Grace.
"UP" was really quite ups, lol.
The storyline albeit a little unrealistic but hey, its a cartoon after all,and well, don't we all need a lil imagination and fantasy in our lives?
It was poignant and funny and touching all at the same time.
And the animation was really cute as well.
I honestly think it is comparable or even better than Ice Age 3!
Finally caught "Public Enemies" today with Sis, Jie Fu and my brother.
Honestly, though it was a pretty good show, I thought the ending was quite a let-down.
He could have died a better death, I think. It was just pretty anti-climax.
But its JOHNNY DEPP. Nothing can go very wrong with him in the show.
Haha, I'm not a huge fan of Depp, but I do think that all the films he ever acted in, are pretty awesome.
They are the quirky, interesting, non-typical shows.
"Edward scissorhands", "Pirates of Carribean", "Sweeny Todd", "WIlly Wonka" etc.
You get my drift!
So that's 2 movies off my to-watch list!
Am catching G. I Joe tomorrow! Hopefully its good!
Oh and BRUNO is coming up! Can't wait.
on a side note, I just realised I'm having a fever as well.

Caught G I Joe at Vivo with Zihao on tuesday. The show was pretty cool. Lotsa CGI effects and it was action packed! Quite worth the money, and there were a few pretty cheesy lines that cracked the show up and made it quite endearing. That makes 3 movies in less than a week, hehe.
Dinner was at Japanese Gourmet Town. For once, I didn't whip out my camera to take pictures of the food cos I was lazy. So despite being the sick bird that I was, we still ordered food to share but we took all precautions to prevent the spreading of my germs, haha. Food was pretty decent, the tomyam soup curry being quite refreshing, and the yaki-modai or something was my favourite! Jap style noodles with seafood and pork sandwiched between an omlette and Jap cabbage pancake. Kinda rushed through our food becos we were running late for our show, but we still made it in time ( thanks to GV's extensive advertisement time haha).
Oh and not to forget, the main purpose of our meetup was to get my TAI YANG BING! whee! ever since hx brought this snack back from taiwan for me to try, I've completely fell in love with it. So I got zh to buy me a box when he went tw.hehe. Though it didn't taste quite as nice as the ones that hx bought, its still tai yang bing nevertheless!
We headed to the outdoor amphitheatre to look at his tw pictures thereafter. omg, all the pictures of the food makes me feel like flying off straight to tw!
