a little over two years ago, i met someone. someone i wasn't supposed to like.
you. wrapped up in a comforter, wearing pajama pants and playing video games. i turned shy, yet you persisted. i saw you twice. once that night, a second time on christmas eve.
and...a third time on new year's eve. we sat across the room from each other, timid and tipsy. midnight came and went, and we both sat, nose to nose. you whispered to me in a husky voice; i blushed and through a fog of emotion, responded.
we kissed.
and two years later, here we are.
