(no subject)
I realize that I haven't done a proper entry in this thing for a while.. But with that being said, not a whole lot has been going on with me. Things have been really tame for a while now. I got promoted at work again, and training for that starts on Monday. My oldest cousin's wedding has a confirmed date in August, and they've decided to make it a week long thing in Mexico at some resort. So I've been trying to save up money for that, since a week in Mexico sounds amazing right about now (anybody with some extra cash who wants to be my "date," just let me know.. haha). And if Vegas taught me anything about vacationing with family, I bet that my aunt Cindi, my cousin Melissa (the mother and sister of the groom), and I will all be acting like we're on spring break. Aside from that, nothing has been going on with me at all. I've been staying at home just about every single night. I've turned into a big homebody these days, which I'm quite content with.
Yesterday I did actually get to see my friend Nicole. I used to work with her in Broomfield years ago, and I ended up meeting her in Arvada yesterday after I got my car registration renewed. This girl was like my little sister.. I met her when I was 20 and she was 16. I haven't seen her for about 2 years, and then I found her email address a little while ago and started writing. Which led up to us meeting for lunch and wandering around in the afternoon. I missed that girl so much. And then another girl I used to work with, Shannon, wants to get together on Friday night, since I haven't seen her in a while, either. So I think Shannon is coming along on my outing with my dude friends that night. Should be interesting, to say the least.
I need to go get ready for work.. :P
