It's been an eventful couple of weeks.
I went on a backpacking trip with six amazing brothers of mine. I had a blast, even though I was ready for it to be over and have a shower by the end. Best part of the trip was when we came to a part of our trail that was underwater, so Jeff and Matt Mc had to build a bridge for us to cross it. Twas awesome. I'm glad I went because it was a good bonding experience with some people that I didn't know very well at all.
The new semester started, and I suppose that means it's time to update about my classes. I love my schedule this semester, even if it means I'm on campus from 8:30 to 5 on Mondays and Wednesdays, because I don't have class at all on Tuesday/Thursday.
I'm taking Swimming 2, which is wonderful, because I don't mind at all waking up to do something that I love so much. And Kristin is in the class with me, so it's tons of fun. I'm excited, our big assignment of the semester is to organize a swim meet. And extra credit is to write a three page paper on an Olympic swimmer or team. I'm either gonna do Ian Thorpe (duh) or the 2000 Australian Free Relay team. :)
I'm also taking Linguistics, and my little is in that class with me!! The teacher is Russian and the TA is from Thailand so that makes things difficult to understand, which isn't fun in a linguistics class. Should be pretty easy though.
Also taking Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Enough said about this one.
I'm taking Man's Food online. Easy A.
And I have one class in my major, Audiologic Rehab, which is fun. The teacher is really nice. She scheduled a test the day after Dance Marathon, and I talked to her about it, and she's gonna let me take it early. :)
Other than that, the deadline for grad school applications is quickly approaching. I'm super duper nervous about it. I really don't want to talk about it. LOL
Meredith, Laura and I are really excited because Anthony Rapp is coming to UF...he plays Mark in Rent. We're gonna go see him speak on the 25th at the Phillips Center if anyone wants to come with!! :)
I guess that's about it for now.
I will say that my iPod is the greatest gift anyone has ever given me. I love it so much. :)
Peace out kids.
