Tennessee Weekend
Craziness ensued, as I expected.
Friday, I had a Language Disorders test, skipped Audiometry, and did power hour. MY BIG showed up all the way from DC. I didn't even know he was coming, and it was awesome to see him. I was surprised how drunk I was when Lisa dropped Laura and I off. Craziness.
Saturday was GAME DAY. After getting my car, I headed off to tailgate. We busted out the slip and slide, and had a wonderful time for about 45 minutes before housing cut off our water supply. Tailgate included a trip to the hospital for Amos, who busted his lip when Moody slid into him during pledge bowling. I went with him so he wouldn't have to sit by himself. We didn't sit for very long, and the doc said he'd be fine, and he didn't even need stitches. Stefanie and Oded came down as well, only to walk right back up the hill.
The game rocked my universe. I had never seen anything like it. The Swamp was louder than ever, and I had such an amazing time with my bros. Between Shawn running through the aisles high-fiving everyone, Oded calling Tennessee fans terrorists, Chris doing crowd pushups, Matt/Shawn/Me/Erin Mills sending good karma vibes to the field, I had a wonderful time. AND WE WON, so that made it better.
It took me an hour to get home...a drive that's usually like 7 minutes.
Stadium cleanup was Sunday. Pretty much everyone knows what happened, so I'm not gonna bitch, only say that it was my last one, and I'll never have to do it again....unless I happen to be in town when there's another one...in which case I'll be a brother and come help out.
We pinned the new initiate class yesterday. Good times. There's two someones I'm really interested in taking as my little. *crosses fingers*
Right after pinning, Amos and I headed to the Less Than Jake show. We met up with Jason/Jon/Carlos when we got there. Good stuff for Jason's 23rd *old* Bday. :) LTJ was amazing. They played mine/Amos/Jason's favorite songs, and rocked out. And apparently we raised 6000 bucks for Hurricane Katrina victims. And that rocks my universe. We had a total blast.
Exec. tonight. Should be interesting. But first, I have homework that needs to be done. Later kids.
