So I'm home for Thanksgiving break and finally have time to write in this again :) First off, happy 23rd birthday to Steve and Adrian....it's still kinda bizarre that the two clarinet players of the GSA Asian share the exact same birthday... ;)
Anyway, life is going well....it's much less busy now as the semester winds down....it's funny, for most people things are getting busier....for me, MUCH easier! Anyway, I've got 5 gigs to go before the new year....my studio recital to finish organizing....work at G&M....new students at Tree House...scheduling stuff for next semester....and practicing. I've got a new project...after hearing Emmanuel Ceysson perform at the Kennedy Center I am determined to transcribe Bach's 3rd French Suite for harp....it was GORGEOUS!! So with all the baroque ornamentations and the practical limitations of the harp...it's going to take awhile.
I'm actually pretty excited about taking harp lessons again next semester...I've got ALOT of music I want to learn! Flagello Sonata, Bach French Suite, Faure Impromptu, Grandjany Variations on a Theme by Haydn, Grandjany Rhapsodie, Pierne Concertstuck, and alot more...I'm concentrating on the Grandjany Variations, Bach French Suite, and the Faure Impromptu for next semester! :)
Well, I'm going back to playing Tales of the Abyss! ;) Happy early Thanksgiving if I don't update again until Christmas ;)
**LOVE YOU!!**
