One more show until SSMT is over!!!
Yay!! These have been the busiest 8 weeks I've had in a LONG time....even though they've gone by pretty quick...I can't wait to get home on Monday and relax for almost two whole weeks!! Even though that'll be event-filled as well. I'm hoping to get to see Amber and Elijah....I'm playing in the August 16th VBSO summer concert at the oceanfront.....and originally, I was supposed to be playing as a guest harpist at St. Aidan's, but now I'm actually going to play a couple harp solos and then cover for Mrs. Dougherty and play the piano for all the congregational hymns as well.... :) That should be interesting... Then Steve's coming to visit next Wednesday for a few days....lots to do.... :)
Flavor of Love 2 starts tomorrow....I can't believe that I'm excited about that....FLAVA FLAV! Oh god I'm pathetic.... ;)
So anyway, NVSR gave a preview of the 2007 calendar!! Merlin is one of the two coverboys as well as being Mr. January ;) He's also in a small picture on other month and Atticus shows up in two side pictures.....very exciting ;) Don't be surprised if I send you a sheltie calendar as a Christmas present :) Oh, and Merlin "graduated" from his Beginning Obedience for Agility class at Blue Ridge....but for many reasons, he's going to take it again and then start Beginning Agility in October.
And I bought a laptop last week....after many MANY suggestions, comments, and criticisms ;) I decided on a Toshiba A105-4074...it's got a 15.4 widescreen with a really nice color screen....DVD burner, great sound system, etc...etc....needless to say, I'm pretty happy with it. I wish the battery was better....but I can keep it plugged in at work so it's all good...I just finished watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets at work this morning ;) Very exciting....if only wireless internet worked there.....oh well....
I finally got to meet up with Heather this week...twice! :) And hopefully in two weeks we'll be able to go shopping and she'll have good news to share ;)
Ugh, Mrs. Blakeslee annoys me....enough said...
I'm looking forward to working in Harrisonburg this fall though....teaching should be alot of fun....and I've got ALOT of students....and ALOT of really good students....plus piano and theory students in Winchester :) But still, it'll be easier than this summer has been so far ;)
Well off to finish watching more of Flavor of Love's first season :)
