So excited!! :)
So after lots of talks and such, I won't be playing percussion for Footloose. Doesn't hurt my feelings at all....Marissa can probably play that part a hell of a lot better than I can! Plus, I'll do a little extra work for Dr. Albert and still get paid my full salary without having to be in the pit almost EVERY night for two weeks!!! So for the next two weeks, I'll work a few more hours at G&M and get to spend my afternoons and evenings practicing, walking, swimming, and playing with Merlin.....definitely looking forward to it! Only four more performances of 42nd Street to go!
Anyways, work is good....SSMT is mostly good....diet is good....Steve, Merlin, Nestle, and Cookie are good.... :) All around, everything is going well....
Ah, before I forget....yay to Donnie for getting to go see Peggy in Ohio!!! Next thing he needs to do is come to Winchester to visit with me and Steve!! :) And hey, Pirates of the Caribbean comes out Friday!! (And now, Steve and I will actually get to see it!)
Oh, and I got another harp student.....eesh....I don't know what I'm going to do with all these harp and piano students!?!?
After work today, Steve and I took Merlin over to the Blue Ridge Dog Training Club Agility trials at the Sportsplex.....we got him measured for jumps (he's 16 and a half inches for anyone who cares)....and we bought him a standard agility jump to practice with.....can't really use it in the apt but we can take it to the tennis courts for him to use :) There were SO many cute shelties at the trials....I wanted to take them all home with us! ;)
Well, off to finish dinner....honey teriyaki chicken kabobs with roasted veggies on orzo.....oh and strawberry daiquiris! I love having free time again!! :)
