I should have stuck with Accounting.

In case you were unsure, I am still unemployed. I interviewed with Dick's Sporting Goods on Friday about an Administrative Assistant position that is open in Knightdale (I don't even know where Knightdale is). The girl seemed friendly enough on the phone, and the job was full time with benefits, so I thought I would give it a go. About three seconds into the interview I knew she wasn't going to hire me. Why do I even bother? People should learn to appreciate introverts!!! And I don't understand why occasionally running the cash register and unloading trucks was even part of the Administrative Assistant's job description. I applied to work in the back office for a reason. And then to top it off, I made a fool of myself for mentioning that I was hoping to make around $30,000 a year. She kind of laughed at me, and said the job was hourly and I would probably start out at $10 an hour, aka $20,000 a year.

I would like to mention that I considered working in the mall selling Rainbow sandals, which also pays $10 an hour plus commission.
