Hey all, so here's what’s going on right about now.
I feel that I have no inspiration or drive to make my LJ somewhat, awesome. So this is where you lovely people fit in (and I would love you ultimately) but you might like to help me. Is there anything you’d like to see and I will do my best to supply your every need; or alternatively challenge me to something that you think would get the creative juices flowing again.
Also, the Maiden fic I’m in the middle of writing (my first ever) is going very, very slowly. I thought I’d nailed the path I’d take while writing it, but it’s not as easy as it makes itself out to be. But, if at first you don’t succeed, right? I knew that it wouldn’t simply roll of the tongue so to speak but wow, it’s challenging.
Also, it's been getting to the stage recently that I have given up getting super excited about certain things and for those that know me; that is what I do. It’s one of the things in life that keeps Kelly, being Kelly. As Bobbie will know, my tendencies to get over excited and giddy about things happen a lot! I need to get excited about things; it’s one of the things that make life fun! Even while writing this I feel the urge to simply give up and not bother and delete everything I have so far written; I don’t think this is a good sign but I might relate it to the fact that it is 2:50 in the morning. Thank god for Fridays off Uni.
Here’s another thing that I feel I’m missing out on, and that’s amazing TV. I love my TV programmes but my choices of what to watch recently have been pretty lame. I started watching Friday Night Dinner last week, thought it was alright, I did have high hopes for it and it genially let me down if I’m honest. Anyone else watch it? My TV life during the week just seems to be spent watching old episodes of C.S.I; although I have no complains in relation to the awesomeness of the show; I just think that I could be watching something that would make me happy and want to write about it.I have an immense TV catch up to do with the list being quite lengthy. Feel free to suggest shows that might not be on the list - that would be grand!
I do seem to be having major withdrawal symptoms in relation to Murdoch Mysteries, I spent a lot of my time during the Christmas holidays watch it with the significant other who brought the box set of seasons 1-3. I think I need to pester him to hurry up and finish watching them all, and then I can sit down, relax with a cuppa tea (and biscuits) and feed the Murdoch obsession. <3 Oh, and yay that season 4 has began to air on Alibi; I’m super, mega excited for it! However, I know that if I start watching week in, week out I will have to stop watching before the season ends due to the amount of University work that I know will begin to form a messy line behind me. It’s happened so many times, and every time it annoys the hell out of me! Hence the massive catch up needed!
I don’t really know what else to right, so I might just leave it there, and I promise to write more interesting posts in the future. I might waste the rest of my night watching ‘It’s me or the dog USA’ or ‘The dog whisperer’...something along those lines; you know when you have an urge you’ve just got to fulfil it.
