Concert Roulette #036

OH MAN. I have faced down maybe my biggest challenge yet, not only a DAZZLING solo but one that has already been lovingly chronicled by our very own ohmyghost! While I still consider hers the definitive post on the subject (and it includes gifs!), I discovered there was in fact more that could be said about Yabai-Yabai-Yabai. IN FACT, I HAVE RELISHED THIS ( Read more... )

EEEE, comments like this are what makes the sparkle process SO rewarding, no matter how I get caught up on little details! I just watched the performance with new eyes, thanks to you! We all feel that common LOVE, you know? No matter how different our lives, it's nice to understand this part of people. ♥

MATSUFACE, YOU ARE SUCH A REWARDING PERSON TO KNOW (OF) TOO! HIS DELIGHTED SPARKLES GRINS, YES!

I CAN WATCH THAT OPENING SEQUENCE OVER AND OVER AND NOT EVEN MIND THAT THE MUSIC IS GROANINGLY REPETITIVE, BECAUSE I AM STILL TOO PREOCCUPIED WITH BEING DAZED BY MATSUJUN'S MARVELOUSNESS.
hahaha, this is me too! I'm not really even watching YABAI for the song Yabai, I'm watching it for JUN anyway. And he never fails to deliver on being himself. ♥

EEEEEEE, YES, GLOW IN THE DARK! that took me a while too!

IF IT WERE TO BE AUCTIONED OFF TOMORROW, I WOULD BID MY SOUL FOR IT AND THE PALTRY FEW DOLLARS I HAVE IN THE BANK.
Oh my god, yes! In ohmyghost's entry, katmillia was talking about cosplaying this outfit and it only then sruck me how much I wanted to own this in it's entirety. I probably shouldn't go spend 300 dollars on sequins right now though. XD

back when I was like "I'll watch some of them when they act, and their variety shows are funny enough, but the music? Ugh, give me some credit--I have some taste!" And then I saw this and I was like "Fuck all y'all, THIS IS HEART-STOPPINGLY AMAZING, AND I AM NEVER LOOKING BACK."
AIN'T IT THE TRUTH. I had some formative years of being in the trenches of Hanson vs Nsync/The Backstreet Boys in which I spent a lot of time being like "Ew, they don't even have an interest in music! My boys play instruments and write their own songs!" which I've since had to get the hell over. NO SHAME. Arashi is ~perfect~ just the way they are. ♥

...Do you maybe want to be lj friends? Eee, I'm sorry to attack you in public space, I've just thought that for while now! ♥

Yes! That feeling is what I love about going to and even just watching concerts, both Arashi and non-. And it's made even more impressive when the performers themselves are in love with that feeling, too, and dedicate themselves to it wholeheartedly, and so Matsujun may be a little ridiculous, but a lot of that ridiculousness is wrapped up in this side of him, and yes, so rewarding!

Right? Even though it would be so worth it. Maybe doing one item at a time... A pair of shoes to start, then a pompom hat, then...

Hee, I showed a friend who was heavy into the American boybands back in the day this very performance, and she was impressively amazed, like "Kristen, he is walking. On the ceiling." And I was like "I know, sweetie, I know." "I think his sparkles are blinding me." "I know, isn't it amazing? Keep watching!" But then she went and got led astray by the Jonas Brothers, and all the temptation was for naught. *sigh*

And yes, I totally want to be lj friends, and have thought so for a while, too, but was too timid to pipe up first! Yay, friend!
