RAIN. The magnificence of this Ohno solo is obviously best in motion. With this in mind, ahem, please feel free to include any and all Rain gifs in the comments. :D It's also better when you understand the lyrics, which I hadn't known until I watched it with English subs and was like WAIT THIS IS EVEN HOTTER. Thus I will link you to a wonderful translation by taijiproject, here. (Any lyric quotes in this post are from that translation and not done by me.)

We come out of the adorable glory that is that evil fucker Nino's Himitsu performance (AND BY "EVIL FUCKER" I MEAN "HE WHO OWNS MY SOUL") and the mood is immediately changed by the attitude-laden opening notes of Rain. And also? Lasers. LOTS OF THEM.
Oh right, and Ohno.
Strutting out to the stage in his ripped jeans and making my brain explode before we're even ten seconds in.
Those are jeans with Ohno's legs in them.
He's also got his jacket sleeves rolled up so his forearms are like BAM and then his forearms lead directly to his HANDS. HIS OHNO HANDS.
HE HASN'T EVEN STARTED DANCING AND I AM PUDDLED ON THE FLOOR.
Also, and I didn't realize this before capping, but that black shirt is sleeveless. Yep. That is a thing that I am feeling in my gut.
Rain: in which Ohno Satoshi repeatedly and befuddlingly defies gravity.
The fact that it's also CHOREOGRAPHED by Ohno is just the freaking overwhelming icing on the whole overwhelming cake.
Ohno's solos: WHO IS THIS PERSON. He is so sure of himself and deliberate in his motions and there isn't one millisecond where he isn't completely OHNO IN AN OHNO SOLO, as in, he just keeps being that intense the entire time. The other four, even in their most intense solos, tend to have a moment, however small, where their facial expression slips and they are the member that we know from shows and interviews, a little rueful smile of, "Yeah, I'm on stage and performing but I'm still myself, too." OHNO DOESN'T DO THAT. OHNO IS THAT PERSON WHILE HE'S PERFORMING. I love those rueful expressions, honestly, and I love tongue-in-cheek performances, too, but there is something overwhelming about it being Ohno who never slips.
If Ohno had the time I would love for him to choreograph more of their performances.
Also he should give a clinic on body-rolling and I say this mostly because I want it to be filmed for us all to see.
Those pants are baggy and yet I am still caught off-guard by the strength of Ohno's thighs: HOW IS THAT ALWAYS THE CASE.
So confident.
He is singing now. Sometimes I don't really know why sparklehole would be of interest to anyone when the actual performances are so much better? It is a fleeting thought, because I adore sparklehole, but I keep pausing the performance to come write in some commentary and every time I pause it is like a physical loss, haha, the turning off of Ohno's voice in Rain.

I know they frequently wear those weird spandex things under their clothes to prevent ... wardrobe malfunctions, but I thought they were more like underwear and didn't go all the way past the KNEES.

In making his way back over to the other dancers he isn't dancing, but the way he moves is mesmerizing all in itself. He is such a graceful man.
