(no subject)
So, Thanksgiving.
I woke up, got in the shower, and got ready for work. Breakfast was supposed to be at 10, but everyone was late, so I ate first. My step mom made this really good creme brulee french toast and turkey bacon. Yummm. Then I went to work at Wakefield 1045 - close, which was at 2, and we ended getting out at 245 which is pretty good considering the state things were in. Then I came home, changed, and hung out with my family for a bit before dinner. Dinner was good, we had two turkeys and lots of food and 24 guests. Then Matt called and said he just got home from football and was going to shower and come over for dessert... most of the family went for a walk and we were gone for like an hour and poor Matt was here with my dad, step mom, her parents and grandma for twenty minutes, lol. Anyway, we came back and had lots of dessert-- punkin pie, apple pie, chocolate raspberry cake and a yule log. Then we went to see Just Friends which was hilarious.... go see it.
So now I'm here. And I tried alarmingly hard to get someone to cover my shift today. No luck -- black friday, everybodys working already. Sooo I guess I'll be lucky to get to the Wakefield game on time. Grrr. I wish I wasnt working today.
