Elko, Caylen, and a smelly van

I'm on my way back from California.

I'm stuck in Elko, Nevada until Thursday. Me and Caylen are hitching with these awesome folks from Minneapolis with a van. The van's being fixed right now, so we're in Elko looking around.

I didn't like my first impression of Seattle. Being a streetkid in Portland didn't feel like it was too fun. Eugene was hella sicky. Really hippie-friendly with tons of elders lending their wisdom. Hitching from Eugene to the Gathering in Cali was fun and went pretty fast. Brotha Lynch and I got some cool rides and kept running into some of the same kids on the road.

On the Greyhound headed to Seattle, we met some awesome kids.
They call themselves the Cabaret of Peace Poets. 4 kids, all 18 and 19 years old. They're from the northeast. They just travel doing slam poetry. Damn, these kids can represent! Hopefully we'll run into each other again.

At the Gathering, B.Lynch went to a council and was very upset by what he heard. There was some Rainbow drama between the forest rangers, the family, and the tribal elders of the land we were on. He decided that it would be best if he left, so he hitched home around the 2nd. I met Caylen at Faerie Camp. We're kicking it. It's fun. Y'all mu'fuckas wish you knew.
