I remember going to M. Gordon for the Macy*s Parade to pick up a bunch of extra supplies for the clowns. They had some chintzy and fun things. It looks so sad that they're out of business. A different store from a different time.
On the other hand, your girls seem very happy! Great to have balance in life.
Actually, they aren't out of business, they moved to 26th Street. I can't imagine that the signage is as cool tho, they just don't make it like that anymore :(
I do love the apparent bomb-crater in the middle of the word "Novelty"...
Awww *nostalgia* I think I passed that store, possibly in a cab. Because I remember that signage and that it seemed out of business and how that was sad. The pic of you and me is funny cause I totally thought I was standing in a different way. ha And that old discovered sign is so cool! Sad to think how it'll probably be gone soon. Anyway, hopefully I'll be back soon on New Years or Spring Break and we can check out another food spot. :)

It's Chicks on Speed on the beach in their self-designed, self-produced outfits. If you do a google image search for "Chicks on Speed", you should be able to find a more discernible version.
