Not dead
No not dead, only swamped with school. I gotta say the older you get, the worse it gets. You'd think after 3 years in university it would be a walk in the park, but NO! It just gets worse; I have sooo much stuff to do. I have an essay due Thursday, an assignment due tuesday and I need all my essay arguments for another essay I'm going to write. Lots to do. And because I work so much I barely have time to work on them...ah well, only two more weeks of this. I just keep telling myself that.
Work's going alright. Though we HAVE to hire someone new, I hate that we're so short-staffed. I needed a shift off and there was only one person who could cover it. We're going to need more in summer that's for sure. Speaking of summer, can't wait I'm going to Poland! Not the rest of Europe though, which sucks but I plan to go next year for a month or two. My brother's going this year though, which I hate but what can I do.
I got my Harry Potter! And Crash! There were lots of good movies lately coming out on DVD, I have yet to see Brokeback Mountain but that won't be out for a bit anyway.
Soap thoughts under the cut
AMC: I got back into it. I knew I would, JR & Babe are so hot it was bound to happen. Is anyone else really sick of Dixie? She hasn't even said why she's hiding, this is getting so boring. I hate the way she treats her sister too. I hope JR rips her apart when he finds out she's alive. And Janet rules on, AMC needs a good psycho and she's it. I also really like Amanda, and I even like Josh being Erica's son, despite the horrible re-write. It's getting pretty interesting.
OLTL: Now this show got boring and fast. I don't get it, the DID story was really interesting and it just turned into crap. I don't even care what created Tess anymore, I just want it over. And I don't really like any of the storylines minus Spencer, who's stuck worshipping Blair. They have to fix things, the only thing I'm really liking is Rex & Adrianna.
GH: Patrick & Robin rule! I watch solely for them. Sonny & Emily aren't that gross, I mean I don't like them but I don't think them together is huge deal. I just still can't stand Emily. Carly & Jax are surprisinglly good but I still don't like Laura Wright as Carly one bit.
Y&R: Daniel & Lily got married, Sharon knows about the affair, this show got good! And I really like nuColleen, she's got an edge to her and she's not just one-dimensional like before. It's great. Overall soaps are getting better, or it could just be me.
