Perks of the new job:
1) It's exactly the type of sales position I was looking for...more schmoozing than actual sales.
2) I get my very own office.
3) My boss is the cutest little gay boy ever!
4) Compensation package includes 2 weeks vacation, 5 sick days, 17 paid holidays annually, the day of my birthday off (or the Friday/Monday nearest to it).
5) Company matched 401(k).
6) Low insurance and dental premiums (75% paid by the company).
7) Schmoozing budget.
8) $100K life insurance (although I hope I don't have to take advantage of that benefit!)
9) Quarterly and annual bonuses.
10) Base salary of what I wanted to be making PLUS commission!
Bad parts:
1) It's near St. Pete, so I have a long drive, but it's all 275, and there's two doggie daycares within a five minute drive of the office. I'm going to check them out tomorrow, as I start on Thursday!
