39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003:
That even if you think you high..you can still fall. Don't ever make any promises to yourself, to others, or to God that you can't keep. I learned that I'm too trusting. I learned that I can be careless. And I learned that I'm human and I make so many mistakes. I learned that if I don't change in this next year I won't make it out alive. Not in the body sense but in the spiritual sense.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
So one last touch and then you'll go
And we'll pretend that it meant something so much more
But it was vile, and it was cheap
And you are beautiful but you don't mean a thing to me
Yeah you are beautiful but you don't mean a thing to me
~Death Cab for Cutie
I think you're the least fucked up
person I've ever met
and that may be as close to the real thing
as I'm ever gonna get
but my quarter's gonna run out now
or so I'm told
I guess I'd better go sit down
and wait for you
til my coffee gets cold
~Ani DiFranco
Even the best fall down sometimes
even the wrong words seem to rhyme
out of the back you fall in time
you finally find you and I collide
~Howie Day
