Ok, I am now freaked, more than a little.

We have a friend, we spend a lot of geekery on the net and occasionally, about once a fortnight or so he comes round and we engaged in such depravity as: discussing how Skyrim could have been a better game, debating whether a game can be too non-linear, considering which Vampire the Masquerade clan is the best, debating on whether Mages are better ( Read more... )

state of me, homophobia

Jesus! I have a couple of deranged online stalkers I thought were creepy, but that's nothing in comparison. O_o Stay safe!

I'm seriously ratcheting up the paranoia. I mean the note wasn't overtly threatening - but the writer's nearby, at my home and freaking watching. Ugh, it's a horrible horrible feeling

Since uni is over for the year, if you need to rent a thug for security purposes I have plenty of free time.

Seriously though, that is some major creep. Takes a certain level of asshole just to leave a note, and those people are at best hard to predict.

That's the thing, it's not knowing who wrote it while at the same time knowing this person has been watching me. Is it a neighbour? It's a horrible feeling

The likelihood is that it is a neighbor, but beyond that it's hard to say. My immediate suspicion would be an older couple with time on their hands, but that's probably some stereotyping on my part.

That's what i thought - being a neighbour is slightly more reassuring in the sense that they can watch me as a nosy neighbour and be aware of the comings and goings without having to actively stalk me, y'know. It's still creepy either way

Good lord, that's creepy.

I have left notes on anonymous cars. Things like, "Your right rear tire looks pretty low" or "Please don't block my driveway".

Sheesh.

Exactly, a mssive difference and thaat's not stalky that's reacting to single incident.

but this is freaking me out 10 times over

I can well understand being freaked out. I sincerely hope it comes to nothing, and I'm glad you're taking steps to document the incident.

*eyes wide* That would more than creep me out! Telling the powers that be is a very good idea. Be safe!

I've told them straight off and ketp the note, even if they do nothing now (and there's not much they can/will do) having the record is important

Thanks - I'm setting my paranoia to max
