THINGS!
First off, Firefly preparations are in full swing now.
I'm half way packed, including almost all my essentials (boots, flashlights, food- there's no trader joe's up there!, sleeping bag, camping dishes & gear, etc) I'm waiting on a package from Campmor with my rain jacket and camping mug, which is set to arrive tomorrow, right on time, and I just need to pack my clothes, toiletries, toys, and I'll be pretty much all set. Oh and I have to bake some banana bread, my gift to the masses ;)
I am however extremely annoyed at my bad tooth, because it's been acting up like crazy, and I'm afraid my stellar plan of waiting it out until next years health insurance kicks in, so I can get a dental supplementary thingie to defray some of the costs of the almost definite root canal I will need, may just blow up in my face, literally. This is not good, but at this point, there's not much I can do until AFTER Firefly, except Grin and Bear It with a little help from the makers of Ibuprofen. Which is what I intend to do.
However much I may be used to the ache however, it is still quite NOT FUN.
All I can think is that this is what people who DON'T have dental insurance (like me) must feel like. Sure I could just go and do it, but it's gonna cost me at least $1000 out of pocket!!
OUCH.

Let's hope that I can at least glide thru the weekend gracefully, and figure something out on the other end if need be. Sigh.
It doesn't help that the institute starts up again the day after I get back, but at least my official work day will end at 3, making an emergency trip to the dentist, if need be, actually feasible.
The other good news is that somebody finally bought the router I bought cause Jenn said she was taking hers, and then didn't, and then we got Verizon DSL so I've been sitting with this $90 wasted piece of Comcast machinery hoping I could recoup some of the costs.
Just means there's one MORE thing I Need to do tomorrow.
