Ok. This city is simply nuts.
I mean, I knew it coming in here, but honestly. There is SO MUCH HAPPENING AT EVERY MINUTE.
And yet it takes a little to get acclimated. Always.
Take this weekend, for example. I have promised myself things relating to home life organization. And then Saturday there's the March to Stop the War, as well as weekend long Future of Music Policy Conference going on.
Um, what is a girl to DO? (Not counting the endless hours of reading) ...
UPDATE:
I sent an email regarding volunteering for the Future of Music Policy Summit. MMmmmm.
I also signed up for the Graduate Student Organization's social committee.
Basically that way I can help plan fun social events that do not focus around drinking beer (cocktails people!) and instead maybe orient around music, or museums, or even sailing.
I am wishing for endless energy here.
