(no subject)
Sleepy.
Since I've been home the past few days, I indulged in A LOT of sleep.
And today, being at work, totally sucks in that I'm still achy and a bit feverish and could so very much use a nice LONG nap.
But sadly it will have to wait i'm afraid.
Anyways, it's good to be at work at least I feel like I'm accomplishing something, whereas while at home I had to pride myself on doing dishes and laundry. although i did finally wash my coat and shoes that were quite besmirched with playa dust. so that's something.
i am happy to hear that we will have an excellent showing at the halloween party.
it seems a lot of folks will be around and that is awesome.
however, thinking about preparations and such now is less than welcomed.
i simply don't have the energy. i did have a huge delicious lunch courtesy of the med school cafe, and that helped a lot. but seriously folks, i don't even have a costume. it may have to be a total last minute throw-together like in years past.
i'm just not feeling creative.
working out details with parents and family friends about the upcoming xmas holiday.
they're looking to go to Mexico for the week, and i'm all for it but i put my foot down on spending New Years there. I did that last year, and it was rather sucky. although it certainly didn't help that Misha wasn't there. Of course I'd like to go, but I may have to depart a few days early, which is fine by me. we'll see how plans work out. It's a little annoying, but manageable. It may so happen that me leaving a few days early would be cheaper in terms of food and lodging, and therefore cover the more expensive airfare. that would be nice.
We'll see.
I'm prepared to haggle. :)
I have NO idea where in Mexico this is, and it's another one of those all-inclusive fancy shmancy things that they like to do, but hey, i'm being invited to go on vacation, so who am i to argue too much?
i just want to spend new years in boston.

AND Aussie Pink Floyd is coming to town again in Dec! yay.
I will be getting tix for the fam as well this time around.
