so today the metal detectors arrived.
I had kolin open the box with his. He was happy as could be.
I hope he stays interested in it.
We learned how to work them, did all the testing, then went out to the back yard. Which, I knew wasn't the smartest idea. Considering how much garbage is out there.
I did find a 1965 penny And a chocolate penny wrapper a door striker, a snap on fabric, an antenna
Kolin found an old metal 5 gallon bucket lid about a foot and a half under ground.
Then we headed to colonial Oaks park. Right after it rained. Joy....
I found two soda can openers tab doohickys and a chunk of chain link fence, then it got too dark to do anything.
Tomorrow we are headed to the beach..... Heh.
