i've come to the realization that ymdb will simply not let me register, ever. so screw you, ymdb, i'll just post my list in my livejournal...
1. Angels in America (yes, a six hour mini-series can be my favorite movie)

5. Solaris (Tarkovsky, no Clooney)

This isn't a list of the movies I think are the all-time best, or anything like that. It's just my favorite movies today. It will probably change tommorrow... And after about number nine, the list is pretty arbitrary.
