Pros and Cons...
Things that suck...
-Finding out that you've been dumped by looking at your girlfriend's FACEBOOK STATUS and realizing that it is changed. What has the world come to? That's lower than getting a phone call, a voice mail or a text message declaring that you were dumped.
-Spending too much money on DVD's in retail therapy in the course of said dumping.
-Being one state, ONE FUCKING STATE, away from some of the most important friends of my life.
-Being stuck in a job situation that simply doesn't fulfill what I want to do. Yet, I need to stay there at least for a while b/c of money and benefits and such.
Things that rock...
-In said retail therapy I did pick up some nice additions. "Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law," "John Adams," and "Birds of Prey" are just some of the shit.
-"Tropic Thunder" lived up to my expectations and then some.
-IMAX + "The Dark Knight" = FTW.
-There is a new mall-type area near my house that reminds me of the St. John's Town Center. Ironically, it's named "The Avenue," and it has one hell of a sushi restaurant situated right in there.
-Finally started to pay off my student loan bill. $200 down, another $19,000 to go...
-Only 192 Days til "Watchmen"!
