Trail Blazing Again
New trail being blazed in Highland Park--starts just below the pool.

This trail is only for the extremely intrepid park hiker at the moment--it's only partly finished and ends somewhat inconveniently at the stone wall on a precipice overlooking the intersection of Allegheny River Boulevard and Washington Boulevard--only you can't see anything through the trees. And the only place to go from there once you've seen the picnic table and garbage can above the wall is to a nasty Public Works dump.
The trail is supposed to connect to another one leading to the seasonal pools alongside Washington Boulevard.
