Christians, out of all the types of "sinners" to pick on, why homosexuals?
I wanna know.
I have answered questions like this repeatedly and yet the question keeps getting posted. For some reason, though it was the final response that the asker posted that I found interesting.
My response:
We don't single out homosexuals. We speak out against any sin. The reason homosexuals seem to get more attention is because they parade their sin out in public and put it on display.
We don't see many many people marching in streets claiming that it is okay to be born a killer or rapist, nor do we see many thieves claiming that kleptomania is natural and that our children should accept their style of life.
There have always been homosexuals. When they kept it in the closet, you didn't really think we were "picking on them" even though we still spoke out against them, it was just kept low keyed, just as homosexuality was. It was not until they brought it out in public that our opposition of it was put out in public as well.
Agree with us or not, you have the answer to your question.

So the question that comes to my mind was did they understand the answer? Or is it that they got an answer they could not argue with or is it that they got an answer they did not like? One wonders what they were expecting. After all, that is just the way it is. They don't have to like it.
