One full month!

That's right, it has been 1 full month since I last updated, excellent. That should be enough to tell you how damn busy I have been with these "summester" courses. 2 of them, fluid and soil mechanics, along with a soils lab (a 1 credit lab that I do more work in than my other 2 classes combined, which are each 4 credits...). Anyway...Those are going fine, they are almost over, and I actually get a 2 week break!! I'm gonna be looking to do some camping and outdoorsy stuff, so for those of you who might be around and available let me know. I'm looking to go out on my boat a little, and do some hiking, I would LOVE to go up and do Monadnock again if anybody else is willing (?)I'll be back in town the 16th of August through the first weekend of September, so let me know!!

So I guess I will just go back as far as this weekend, because I am looking to hop into bed right about now...Friday I went over to BGS (the engineering frat). It was an ok time, played some pool, hung out on their roof, which has an AMAZING view. Rylan and I went to Little Stevies to grab some pizza, around 130. There were some Minnesota Twins fans there, who were drunk off of their asses, and 2 of them were in wheel chairs. The one that was walking sat on the curb, took one bite of his slice, and then dropped it on the ground. Rylan and I cheered him on to pick it up, becuase of the 5 second rule. He did, and it was gone in about 2 minutes, we were quite disgusted.

Saturday morning I headed home for the weekend, to go to a family reunion up on the most beautiful lake ever. I took a couple friends up there once and they loved it. I hope to take some more people up there in about a month or so. Anyway, it was a good time. The baby eagles are getting HUGE. One of them had flown a small ways onto the adjacent island where we were able to get pretty close to it and check it out. He was squaking across the lake to its mother who was hanging out in a tree. That night I hung out with markmikesarah (thanks derek) and played a board game. It was a good time, it just took forever.

Sunday morning I headed back to the bean, and of course got caught in traffic of the people headed home, and then the people headed to the sox game...I got back, and was about 20 minutes late for wiffleball, but it was cool because I wasn't the last to show up. I got to pitch, for the first time, with the type of ball they used. Pailes showed me how to throw a couple of different pitches. It went ok. I had 9 strikeouts in 4.2 innings. But the score by then was like 10-3. The other ywo kids on my field were just terrible...they dropped about 3 flyballs right to their hands, and let grounballs go through their legs...Talia is better them....hahaha.

And here I now sit, at 1140, knowing I should be in bed because I have 2 midterms this week, on tuesday and wednesday (wish me luck!) I also have a hering tomorrow night, sounds like a lame one, but it is fun listening to students beg for mercy...Alright, I am headed to bed, let me know if you are going to be around those 2 weeks!!!!

Laterz!
