Funny Night
Started off babysitting next door. Basically made $25.
Babysat again and the night got interesting. Let's start with what happened when the mother left. She came right back in saying that she accidently hit my car. Oddly I found this hilarious. Then we have a very very very dirty diaper. In the midst of the changing of the diaper the little boy (two years old) says to me that he likes my hair.
THIS MADE MY DAY! If not for the fact that people had been telling me all day long that they like my hair than for the fact that he said it while his diaper was being changed. I repeat - made...my...day!
The little girl wanted to say up til "mommy" came home. Okay but we will watch All My Children because that is what we will do. It is very fun explaining how the "blonde lady" took the "dark haired lady's" baby. Ironically enough she picked up that the "other lady" is the mother of the "blonde lady". I babysit geniuses!
After AMC, the mother still wasn't home, and the presidental debates were started. Again, intersting experience explaining this one to a five year old. She almost seemed semi-interested in the whole thing. "The current president, Mr. Bush, has been there for four years. If he gets elected again he will be there for another four. But if the other man, John Kerry, gets elected he will be the new president." She was so cute when asking which man was the president. I told her he was the one who looked like he was lost in a foreign country that didn't speak English. JUST KIDDING I didn't say that. I thought it. But I didn't say it. lol
Anyways I made $25 from that one. Plus the little car incident. But yeah overall it was a very interesting night. Right now I'm watching the presidental debates. And I think it's sickening how many people arn't watching it. Now I'm talking to my bestest friend in the whole entire universial existance. And I wouldn't trade it for the world. :-D
