Update....

Long over due update. I'm much better. No more weepy, sad, pathetic Laura. I feel the better than I've felt in a long time. I no longer work in Hell, otherwise known as Isleta. Super thankful of that too. I don't like to be used, when it's not for fun. I made one super awesome friend there, who has become my 'dear abby' and vise versa. I'm gonna be going to CNM next semester to get a Associates in accounting. I'm pretty content with this idea, plus it'll help when I move to Chicago. I haven't given up on my other degrees that I want, I just don't have the mind set to go after them yet. I just want to leave. I feel stunted living here. Accounting will be my stepping stone to freedom, or at least that's what I'm telling myself.
As for my hair, no longer black. I couldn't really pull it off well. It was platinum blond for awhile; which with my skin tone was totally head turning. I loved it, but was being lazy and let it grow out. It's now a brownish red, not totally awesome but it could be worse.
In hockey news: Montreal lost in the first round to Boston (of all people), but Chicago has made it all the way to the conference finals against Detroit, otherwise known as Le Douche. It's been pretty sweet playoffs this year. Hope Chicago can hang on and go to the finals.
But on to the latest news: Went to see NINJA 2009 (the Jane's Addiction/Nine Inch Nails tour). It was super sweet. I went with my friend Karen, who really isn't into this kind of music. To prove this, the concert we went to for her was Dwight Yoakum. All I can say is thanks to Jose for seeing me through the concert and damn are they shiny. We had an awesome time though. For the NIN portion of the concert we were on the grass which rocked, because I got to jump around and make and ass of myself. Totally worth it. But for Jane...I got to be front row. THANK YOU WILL!!!! It was unbelievable. I nearly pissed myself. I love Perry Farrell, and he had his peacock feathers. I was in hyper overdrive. At on point when they were singing 'been caught stealing' I almost fainted. It was freaking amazing. I loved it.
As if seeing, Perry Farrell and Will, wasn't a big enough rush, I also ran into JAM. God love him he's still out there. He's doing good though. 3/4 happy, 1/4 still figuring shit out. Then again who isn't. Anyways.
The night after the concert I couldn't sleep. Way too wound up. In fact I haven't slept more than 3 hours straight since the concert. Too much for one day. Senses overload.
