A Championship Kind-of Day
So, tonight was a good night because we won the Juniata 2008 Dodgeball Tournament which Habitat sponsored. It was a big win for us haha, and everyone was really happy. The grand prize was that we each got a coupon for a free MTO item and any size fountain drink at Sheetz. Sometimes the best prizes are a slip of paper haha. Other than that, today was a pretty normal day.
One of the interesting things is that after getting out of my 11am class, I came back to find that I had a callback from a marketing firm outside of Philly that I sent my resume to yesterday. They wanted me to come for an interview tomorrow, but I can't make it. Also, I really don't want to work near Philly, but it was nice to see that my resume garnered some interest right away. It helped put my mind at ease because I just worried all last night about paying back loans and such.
Class was pretty normal today, and Research Psych is actually starting to come together. Our research on Right Wing Authoritarianism measurement is going well, but we have a lot to do in a little amount of time. Also, Spanish Civ and Culture was the most boring thing ever, and I wanted to fall asleep the entire class. I have my exit-interview for the Spanish Dept. in 3 weeks...I'm kinda nervous, but Holly told me that my Spanish speaking ability is already past where it needs to be, so I have nothing to worry about. I'm glad about that.
