A much needed update
Alright, after a good while since my last update, I'm back on the LJ scene. Where to start? School is almost over. There are 17 class days left here at JC. I'm so pumped for summer. I can't wait to take the trip off to Guatemala. Something tells me I'm not gonna forget that trip ever. Hopefully everything goes well on it. Also, it's another summer of working at the mill and Meadows. I'm excited for it. Megan and I are both going to be really busy, but it's alright. Being busy and working in the summer is what makes it fun. It's nice to relax sometimes, but after a while you get bored.
Tomorrow is a big day for me. I have a Spanish Linguistics test which I need to do well on. Spanish grammar, phonetics, and morphology have all blended together to murder me, and I have like a D+ in the class. I need to get a good grade on this test and our project and our final, and I think I can pull off a B- in the class. Realistic? Who knows, but I hope so. I got an 87 on my Abnormal Psych test, which was pretty good, but I made 2 stupid mistakes, so I should have had over a 90 on the test. Oh well, 87 is nothing to complain about. School this semester has been harder than any semester I've had so far. I had to suffer through a horrible period where I had no motivation, and my classes aren't really the best. Abnormal is my only class which I really like. In other good news, however, we got a 90 on our group presentation in Human Sexuality. Our topic...Is pornography harmful to women? This project is roughly 30% of our final grade, so a 90 on that was a definite plus.
Well, I'm off to a meeting about my final presentation in Linguistics. Another update soon!
