Christmas Break Update
So a good bit has been going on lately. Last week I finished my Art and Activism final on Sat. night and then came home for break. I hung out with Megan and worked at Meadows the next day. I saw Narnia and King Kong last week, both of which are excellent movies. I also played football with everybody and it was a good time. My one finger got dominated, and I probably played worse than I ever have in my life, but oh well, it was good to hang out with everyone.
Sunday was Christmas and I had a good day. I went to church with Megan and her family on Christmas Eve. 11PM service was super full, but I saw a lot of old friends there and it was good to see them. The service was pretty good, but also really long. Oh well, it's Christmas, so it deserves the long service. Also, all the companies that don't want to say "Merry Christmas" because they don't want to offend everyone, you're gay. I understand that toleration of other peoples' religions is a good thing, I won't argue that, but I'm tired of having my religion discriminated against in order to avoid doing it with everyone else's. If it wasn't for Christianity and Jesus, there wouldn't be a Christmas, so Walmart wouldn't have to worry about offending people anyway. Just a rant I have because people are ridiculous and I'm tired of these stupid issues always coming up.
Christmas day was a good time, and we ate dinner with my grandparents and some other relatives from my mom's side. Then we went to my other gram's home that evening for Christmas with my dad's side of the family. I also enjoy that the most, I think because my dad and uncle are both there, and they're both awesome. Yesterday I made a huge mistake and went to Walmart after I got off work at 4. I wanted to die as soon as I entered the store, because there were 18 million people there. You'd think I was exaggerating, but no, 18 million. I went to electronics and used my Christmas money to buy an XBox (old school, not 360) and College Football 2006. Mike and I can now play in my room in the comfort of the fouton.
Today I went to Inlow's with my uncle, a favorite breakfast spot of our's for years. We hung out and caught up on a lot of stuff since we haven't hung out in forever. Tonight I have to work at Meadows 7-10, but it shouldn't be bad. Dave will be there, he's the man. Well I'm out for now. Hope everyone is having a good break!
