In response to what happened to Miss. D.S. Gray today.
I got my braces off. The lower retainer incites my gag reflex. And when I told this to him, he said, " I'm surprised I don't!" And I was like, "Amazingly, no." So that was that. I go back in 56 hours to be with my people. Tomorrow I think I shall be making a trip to Calverton, again, in hopes of seeing Mr. Waldspurger, and in an attempt to return Mrs. Campbell's book on Mendel. Which I therefore need to finish tonight. Right-o. So it's absolutely friggin frigid outside. Given a few days to adjust, I really deal well with the cold. But this is just insane. I can only imagine how NJ is. I'm going to DIE walking to class on Monday morning. Not to mention it has been WEEKS since I have stayed up all day without an extensive nap. So, having 7.5 hours of class on Monday, yeah, that's gonna be really fun. Just you wait and see. However, I will have Everwood to watch. And that will make up for just about any calamity that the day might bring. And the last of my textbooks are in the mail, excepting those which I shall be picking up at the bookstore on Monday morning. Yay. 55 hours and 40 minutes until I am back on campus. Life is grand. And John IM'd me in a good mood, which in turn makes me happy. I really hope he gets funding for this semester--or I will be spending much of my weekends driving all over in search of his venerable company. Ok. I'm tired again. And I slept from 3:20 am-9:00 am, then from 1:30 pm to 6:41 pm. And it is now 9:22 pm, and I am, yet again, going to go crawl into the lush and padded confines of my bed. Oh! Rapture. I need to pick up my prescriptions. Will someone remind me?
