Dearest Nobility,

I love when it's somone's birthday. :) I have three that I need to do things for. One, obviously, is Andrew. He's gonna be 18. I need to get him something really good. I don't remember what he got me for my birthday...but I'm sure it was good. Hahaha.

Then there's Matt. He's been such a good friend for so long. I mean, I met him freshmen year, and ever since he's just always been there for me. He's away at school, and he has a P.O. Box, so I can't get him anything big. And he really hates when I get him expensive things...so I need to figure something out for him.

Then Ryan's birrthday is in November. I have a really good idea too. I just called Mrs. Carey and she said it was a really good idea too. So, go me! Hahaha, I love the sneakiness. WATCH YOUR BACKS! YOU'RE NEXT!! hahahahah...

Your Sneak

P.S. -- I had a really nice morning...with Dad. I miss it just being me and him. I know it hasn't been just us is a LOOONG time, but this morning I felt like I was five all over again. I got up and he had the news on, drinking his coffee, the same way he's been drinking it for years: 4 teaspoons of sugar, no cream, and just a drop of honey. It's so weird. I plopped onto the couch next to him and without a word he handed me his coffee cup. I took my old sip I always used to take, made that face, and handed it back. He smiled and finished his mug. Then we went into the kitchen, cut a Gala apple in half and sliced out the middle bits with the seeds. He gave me my half and we sat there and ate. Halfway through our apples he handed me the remote. (When I was little I would put cartoons on.) I put on VH1 and that OK Go video was on and we watched that and then turned the tv off. He got up, messed up my already messy hair, and left. ....We hardly said two words to each other.... but it was the nicect thing. My mom just ruins everything. She would have bitched about me being in my sweats, and would have said I look like crap with my hair all messy. And she would have said "this is ridiculous" and walked out on the video. Granted it's silly, but Dad stayed and laughed at it with me and said "that's a skiing thing" when they did...a skiing thing. Sarah's happy. :D (The entry title is a song title of a Spin Doctor's song. Dad and I used to go driving for hours in Japan. This was one of the songs we would listen to. And I loved it (whish is really silly) so he would calle me that. *shrug* He hasn't called me that in years.)

nice parent moment, pressies
