GOODBYE 2009!
What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Received a car accident settlement and stopped paying my mortgage on purpose (eek)!
Did you keep your new years' resolution(s) and will you make more for next year?
Well, I pretty much always have the same one...to loose weight. I think I'm a couple pounds lighter, but that's about it. It was a pretty crappy year for weight loss (but obviously that's my own fault!)
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Uh...my old best friend from High School.
Did anyone close to you die?
No, not that I can recall.
What countries did you visit?
Pfft...yeah, right...
What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A house!!! With a backyard!!
What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
Hmm. Probably last March (no specific day) because after a long year and six month battle, I finally received my car accident settlement. Also, the day Michael Jackson died.
What was you biggest achievement of the year?
Paying off our credit card.
What was your biggest failure?
Probably money, which I have to say wasn't 100% our fault. All of my accident settlement is GONE. We were hit pretty hard with the economy and also lost ALL the value in our condo, our largest investment. Sucks.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just the usual, my neck.
What was the best thing you bought?
By far, our Nissan Cube!!
Whose behavior merited celebration?
My husband. He's like wine...he gets better with age. :)
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Brent's brother Arnie...but we wont go there...
Where did most of your money go?
Repairs in the condo surprise, surprise. And the Cube. Oh, and paying off the credit card.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Alexis' first dance recital and Disneyland!!
What song will always remind you of 2009?
"Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Not sure if that was out in 2008 or 2009, but my kids LOVE IT.
Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder?
Honestly, probably sadder because of our condo!
thinner or fatter? thinner!
richer or poorer? poorer because our income went down and bills went up!

More time with Brent and the kids.
