SQUEEEE

I'll admit to everyone: I am in love with Max Bemis. Yep, thats my secret.

I met him! and touched him! and watched him sing and dance! God.

They opened with 'Wow, I can get sexual, too' and ended with 'Admit It!'... it was an amazing set. Sarah and I were the only ones upstairs that were singing along, but that's okay. Man. I didn't have anything to sign so I just shook his hand and took a picture of him and oh man. It was suuuuch a good show. Seriously, I get giddy just thinking about it. I've tried a billion (or so it seems) times to see Say Anything live, and it's always canceled/I can't go/something stupid happens... so two years later, I finally see them! And it was so worth the wait. I didn't know a show could make me so happy. We left halfway through Dashboard, cause well, we couldn't see, we were tired, and we felt we had our money's worth. Chris puts on a good show, though. We were this |______| close to him, he very nearly brushed elbows with Sarah. Which was exciting but not nearly as exciting as SA's whole set. And I really think I saw Max reading the Wolfgang Puck menu, and I wanted to talk to him, but after the David Crowder Incident, I was a bit hesitant. I am convinced now that it was him and I lost my chance. But I got to shake all the boys' hands and say hi and stuff. Goodness gracious. I need to go to bed.

'Admit it' has always been one of my favorites, and it was exquisite live. Same with all of them, really. Especially 'The Writhing South.' mmm. And Max is SUCH a good performer! Very dancey and mic-swingy and funny. Soooo good. Maybe I'll take up a career as a professional stalker and follow them around while they're on tour. Sounds good to me.

I only got one picture, as cameras were confiscated, and it's Max at the merch booth with my camera phone. =] He's so beautiful. Siiiigh.

my obsession has been renewed.
