Good Morning!
I just got back from working out at the YMCA and I am tired and sore :0( Today is a major painting day at our house and my mom has recruited me to help :0) We plan on painting the entire inside of our house by this summer. We are also putting in new wood floors, switching bedrooms, re-doing the kitchen and so on. Right now our house looks like a construction zone. Last week we tore down a wall and we still need to patch up the holes in the walls, we tore up our carpet and our furniture is all piled in the middle of the rooms. Needless to say, a great amount of stress falls on me when I walk into the house. It is going to be a long summer.
Anyway, this past week has been a little lonely for me and so I got to thinking about having a huge kind of get together at my house this summer before everyone heads off to college and leaves me
:0( Anyone could bring whoever they want and we would just have a night of games, conversation and possibly a bon-fire (city-style). It is really not set in stone (my parents still have to give clearance especially about inviting boys) but I just wanted to tell y'all. Well just to let you guys know, I was informed the night of graduation that I hadn't told my best friend (Anna) about my plans for a career in nursing. As you might guess, I was horrified and am therefore telling the whole world at this very moment that I am going to be a nurse! I have always wanted to be a doctor, but it would take to long. So then my career changed to interior design (which I love) but there are really no opportunities for it anywhere but some big city and I would not want to have to move so far from home. Finally, after much thought, I decided on nursing and am really excited about it. It is something that I would really love to do. Well I better go. A shower and then painting awaits me. This will be such an exciting day.
