I can't not reply to that, because I read this comment right after watching TEDxToronto on your lj and then seeing you referring to how one encounter could easily shape a life was kind of magical.

My internet world is full of these small amazing coincidence. Your line is very true of my online life as well. Over the years, chance encounters with people have lead to skills gained, greater depths of knowledge, and lasting friendships. That is the thing that keeps me coming back to Big Bangs and other challenges.
