Priorities. Some people do not have them.

Kelly sang the National Anthem at Game 4 of the finals tonight. SHE. KILLED. IT. Due to the performance, Kelly trended on Twitter for a while. Curious, I checked the tweets. Big mistake. You would think I would've learned by now not to look at celebrity @replies and related tweets after being a Kris stan for so long. But nope, lesson not learned.

Anyways, instead of focusing on how awesome Kelly sounded, 95% of the tweets mentioned either her weight or her clothes. I am so GLAD that someone like Kelly, who is neither skinny nor what the media would call "sexy", can still survive in this superficial music industry and have chart topping singles. She can basically kick the ass of pretty much 99% of the popular female pop singers out there when it comes to actually S I N G I N G (yea, i'm looking at you katy perry and rihanna). It just makes me so frustrated that people will call a performance with mediocre to poor vocals great b/c the singer is pretty / sexy / wearing what is considered sexy / provocative but will not give Kelly credit for singing one of the more vocally challenging songs extremely well.

Go DIAF, all you haters.
