OOC: Powers
In order to insure that Mr. Angelic Being does not succeed in demolishing the entire institute, his powers will now be summed up by the following:
1. Magic can only be used up to twice a day; each time he casts consumes 50% of his overall total energy. This means that if he's not fully rested, this quota will change appropriately.
*This also applies to Special Attacks
2. The power of magic and Special Attacks has been reduced to 25%. This means that if Kratos could do, to put this in gaming terms, four damage, he would now only be able to do one damage. This obviously proves the mun's competence in dividing things into quarters.
3. Kratos's spells have been limited to the following: Fire Ball, Stone Blast, and Lightning First Aid.*
4. Kratos's Special Attacks have been limited to the following: Demon Fang, Sonic Thrust, and Light Spear
5. Kratos still has to take time to cast. Casting time is a few seconds, but may change. (I need to go play ToS again to get a better picture) He is perfectly vulnerable at this time.
6. Special Attacks will still function, but Kratos's body will suffer recoil and possible injury as a result of using them, meaning using Light Spear is now the equivalent of jumping high into the air and landing directly on his feet. Ouch.
And now for a slight copy-pasta on Kratos UNCUT:
Kratos has ingested a material called Aionis, which grants him magical powers that normally only those with elven blood (at least in his world) would have. These magical powers manifest themselves in spells, usually having to do with the elements- and they can get pretty damn powerful too. In addition, his status as an angelic being allows him to use aptly named angelic powers, including the ability to fly as well as the ability to use certain spells, namely Judgement, which requires a lengthy chant before beams of light fall from the sky and well...kill you.
Spells aside, Kratos has Exsphere-enhanced strength and agility, allowing him to use certain attacks that require gravity-defying abilities and energy manipulation, examples of these being Demon Fang, Light Spear, and Sonic Thrust. These moves are all grouped together in a rather lamely named category: Special Attacks.
In addition to magic and special attacks, Kratos's senses have been enhanced thanks to his Cruxis Crystal. His vision and hearing are waaaay above the human range, strong enough that sometimes as one character puts it, hearing things is almost painful.
Kratos's Cruxis Crystal will be rendered null and ineffective. While he still will be able to summon his wings, doing so will consume energy gradually. He also can't fly using them, which makes his wings pretty much decoration. And maybe a last resort scare tactic.
Kratos will not age, but he will be able to feel pain, sleep, taste things, etc. etc. (I'm not sure if he can't do those things in canon; after replaying it so many times, I still can't figure it out) His hearing and vision will be reduced to those of an average human.
