i am typing right now without the use of glasses or contacts. it's quite a weird feeling, i must say. today marked the beginning of a new era...one that i can see!
laser eye surgery is weird. you don't really feel anything, but it's still scary. the dr cuts a flap in your eye and then moves it. all of a sudden, your vision is even worse by a lot. it's really weird. and you can't blink because your eyes are held open. the laser is weird. it's dark except for a bright light and you can smell and hear the laser. that part is kind of scary.
i still can't see perfectly, i wil see much better by tonight and ever better by tomorrow, and my eyes are behind these plastic shields, but i am so happy that i can now see well.
