Ever just feel the need to please somebody because you know that they are soo much smarter than you? I have that feeling with my one professor. She is so amazing, has amazing insight into our country (although she was never born here, she came from India a long time ago). So, I work extra hard on making sure that my papers are perfect, and it's been paying off.
Tomorrow is my first sociology small group without a co-leader. I work at Gillie's tonight with Marri, the girl i lead the group with last semester, so we're going to talk a little bit about our first groups. This quad, Holcomb decided to give all of the new people, who had been doubled up, a chance to lead a group by themselves. This means that there will be more groups (6, instead of 4) with a smaller amount of students (i think it should be 6 or 7 per group). i'm excited about it. I met my group in the soc class last friday, and they all seem really cool. grading one or two more papers will not be that much harder, too. i just hope it all works out well!
i need to shower before work. the next few weeks till may are going to be completely full. i hope it all goes ok.
